Oh this sounds so familiar. These were a lot of the some things I told my ex boyfriend, because I wanted him to be honest with me and to let me help, but I just got one lie after another. Now I am ripped in pieces forever, while he runs away again to someone else. And I have never been able to get over him. Sucks that way. Your poem seemed to fit my story because I always wanted him to be there for me and he never was, and I always wanted to help him and give him someone to love and trust and yeah . . . I am not looking for pity points, I was just trying to explain why your poem touched me so, and almost brought me to tears, when I am one of those people who can't cry anymore. I loved the poem. 5/5!
