My Reflection

Are you there, or are you not?
Can you help me through life's plot?
Staring at myself I see
I have no true identity
Just a girl filled with confusion and sorrow
What is here for me? I must know
My reflection is like my guide
All my feelings I try to hide
Can you help me to see another light?
Can you take me to a life that's right?
You just stand there and stare
Act as if you don't care
Many tears stream down your face
Help me through this uphill race
Are you there, or are you not?
Can you help me through life's plot?

    Very good poem. I like it alot.

    "are you there, or are you not" That's a good questions.

    Often felt that way. Tears would gutter down my face and all people could do was sit and stare. What else should they do? I really don't know. But seeing them stare at me just hurts.

    Then you really come to wonder "are you there, or are you not"?

    Very powerfull. Well done.
