Impending Insanity

by Vic   Nov 21, 2005

Confusion, pain, anger, aggression
Emotions flow my mind in constant motion
Never stopping to give me a break
Been swimming deep in my salty lake
Unbind my chains and free me now
Release the meanings within my vows
Break away from such great sorrow
Breathe better by this time tomorrow
Gone forever into my warm abyss
Darkness home, never missed
Red upon every mad corner
The rage building, thinking of her
If not love, then all is false
Tears, writing.. all upon my walls
Contemplating, wishing, thinking
Mind and heart fight in a ring
Scars upon my arms throb
My chest empty, my soul robbed
Sitting, silent, listening, tempered
Inept whimpers barely heard
Running, heaving, crying, going
Nowhere to run, the light not showing
Tortured and punctured, pain is life
End all now, walked so many miles
Wandered, couldn't find right answers
Horizon bright, always steps from her
Depressed, water escaping with ease
All this happening, yet I'm at peace...

Ohh, very sad poem... it's amazing, though. You're a great writer, and if you ever need to talk to someone I'm here for ya.
