Shadow Dancer

by DarkAngel1813   Nov 21, 2005

Like a bitter sweet forgotten dream, she wanders through the night.

Her face unseen, her spirit un soard, Shadow Dancer only waits for her story to be told...
She doesn't know how it begins,
She doesn't know how it ends,
She waits for it to unfold.

No one understands the beauty that is her,
No one can see her face, for that black hair is her veil to hide those witchy eyes.
The Shadows are the only place where she belongs...

She dances in the moon light waiting, waiting for her one true love to save her life.
But the days keep fading and she is always waiting,
Will her true love ever come?

In her mind, she flutters through the sky, like a lone butterfly, way past it's bed time.
But yet, she doesn't know that yes, her story is being told, and it nears the end.
But there won't be a happily in her ever after, but instead she'll haunt the night, waiting for her true love to come and set her free from her misery.
And then once after, they'll be together in deadly bliss, for evermore, and there after.

So wait Shadow Dancer, keep dancing in the shadows of the night, for your end is near, and will be quick and painless so you can wait for an eternity and stalk my skies.

To my Immortal thanks for rescuing me, so I won't be the Shadow dancer.
