Why Did Our Love Die?

In all the poem i write
I always seem to ask why?
why did our love have to die?

You were my everything
you were my one true love
you mean the world to me
because you were my first love

2years we were together
and then things started to change
our love that was so true
felt like it was fading away

You had change
you even stop spending
time with me
you wouldn't even pickup
the phone and call me

And when you did call me
it was to tell me
it was the end
to tell me
that you only want to
be my friend

I came to school the next year
Hoping and praying
you would want to be back
with me
but not knowing
that you were with her
not knowing you didn't
love me

I cant believe you would leave me
and not give us another try
you told me you want to be with her
and our love had to die

I didn't even now you were
in love with someone new
I didn't even now
she was deep in love
with you

Why did love die?
and now I'm left all alone
why cant we be?
why wont you give us
another try
I loved you baby
my heart is broken inside
i cry myself to sleep
because i know my love
for you wont die!

This love i have for you
lives inside of me
and i try so hard to
make it die inside of me

But It Cant!!!...
I love you to much
and thats why i always
ask why?
why did you go?
why did our love have to die?
