How do I tell him.....or do I even dare

Do I dare tell him my thoughts of
Wanting to feel that passion that is so true
Laughing like I have never before
In love with this man, oh what do I do

Do I dare tell him these feelings I feel inside
Should I open up my heart and let my emotions fly
Fly with the wind with no boundaries to hold them down

Do I dare let him have this precious heart of mine
To have when ever he wants it, with no sense of time.
My heart is for the taking if he wants it right now
Does he feels the same way by some chance some how

Do I dare tell him "I love you"
as he holds me tightly in his arms
Praying that there are many more nights like
these engulfed by his charm
Feeling this love that he has given to me.
Sometimes holding my breath to just hear those 3 words
Wanting them ever so softly whisper to me

Do I dare wake up from this repetitive dream.
Wanting him in real life and not just in my fantasies
To wake up beside him with his arms holding me tight.
I lay in my back in my bed and close my eyes again, thinking of him.

I dream of the day I can tell my best friend That I am hopelessly in love with him....
