It Ends Tonight

by Clare Bear   Nov 22, 2005

I sit alone
in my dark house
waiting for the screams
i run
to make sure
she has not done the unspeakable
i see her
holding the knife
about to chase me
i run
lock the bathroom
slams the knife threw the door
i cry
because of you
knowing tonight is my last night
i pray
for forgiveness
that you will spare me one last night
I'm out
away from your wrath
never going to return, unless you find me
i hear sirens
you have sent them
why cant you realize I'm not happy
i walk
toward the lights
well knowing my life ends tonight
i weep
when i see you
good bye cruel world, you were all i ever knew

That was rather unusual yet nicely done. It wasn't exactly excellent but it was good.
