What I have Slain

by Qyzex   Nov 22, 2005

The ice begins to break.
I can see the eyes more clearly now.

I take the steel in my crimson hands.
One strike and I shall get through.

Crack! Watch the ice shatter!
Now the demon is free from it's tomb.

But it was not my intention to let it live.
So I shall slay it where it lay.

Oh, the blood is still warm in this one!
This shall keep me alive for at least one more night.

Morning comes, and I do not wake.
What is it that lies here now?

What am I now? I feel much evil.
Oh, dread! I have become what I have slain!

I can not allow myself to help ruin the world,
So I shall remain in the Ice and stay.

I can see the eyes now, frozen, a good soul lost in demonic thoughts...
