Looking into two pair of sad eyes
My heart breaks
I watch as my little girl cry
I seem helpless for this is fate
My son is solemn doesnt say a word
I cry as their father forces them away
God what can i do
The law is on his side and my heart aches
I am only glad its only two days
I await to hear my babies voices
For it seems children here in Texas have no choices
They smile when they see me
Home they are here to stay
Till he decides he wants to hurt me again
Then he floats this way
I know only God can protect them
I put my faith in him
My children I love with my whole heart
Every time he comes back here and takes them
To watch them cry it tears my heart apart
