Tammy, this is heartfelt and beautiful. It describes the range of emotions people go through when they part ways with a loved one. It is tough. Particularly tough when so much time is involved. Hang in there and keep writing. You are talented and your heart is pure. Writing got me through some tough times. Brilliant write. |
Anyone fresh out of a relationship or still trying to start over again can not help but identify with this piece. It flows very smoothly and everything is stated simply and straightforwardly-very honest and sincere, covering the love, the loss, the pain, the loneliness, the holding on, memories that haunt, even a bit of anger and despair. You convey the emotion excelently and what really wraps this up so well is that it ends with a bit of hope(which I've found can be friend or enemy). But it is a great way to end it.Never regret a love lost, no matter how painful, and most of all, you may not have that one person, but as long as one retains the capacity of great love in the heart, then anything is yet possible.Great poem. |
