This Lonely Night

by Bill Turner   Nov 22, 2005

Scent of your perfume
Tugging at my heart
It lingers in my room
Even when we are apart

Your taste is upon my lips
As I close my eyes
Picturing my hands upon your hips
Caressing your silky thighs

My heart aches for you
This lonely night
I know just what to do
To make our world right

Thoughts of you linger
Weighing upon my mind
Slipping a wedding ring on your finger
Giving all the love and passion I find

This is the beginning of our life
I am so in love with you
Honoring you as my wife
Is all I long to do
