Three Girls

There were three girls once upon a time
Three girls whose lives were far from fine,
Each girl lived with a trouble of her own
Living this pain in a world alone.

In one girl's mind lay a horrific night
Which scared her with such hurt and fright,
Another whose sadness darkens her dreams
And the last who cuts to cover her screams.

Three girls whose friendship was finally sealed
Where hidden secrets could be revealed,
Their tortured hearts were filled with hope
For friendship gave them a way to cope.

They were brought together, so closely kept
In the arms of each other they safely wept,
No longer hiding this inner torment
For times together were happily spent.

Two girls so close to suicide
Where under the surface they had almost died,
But their grip on life became so strong
As friendship kept them holding on.

Three girls who lived a life in pain
No longer had to suffer again,
For in a tunnel, black as the night
Friendship shone a beautiful light.

    This poem really did almost make me cry, god how i wish i ahd a friendship like that with someone, it would make it all so much easier, especially haveing a triangle of three friends, amazing, emma you are an absolutely amazing writer, everytime i read one of your poems i just thirst for another,
