Step outside again,
And paint on that big fat smile,
Tell them all that you're OK,
They wont know you're in denial.

Show them that you are happy,
Hide away your tears,
Cover them with rain,
And lock away your fears

Make sure your arms are covered,
Don't let them see the pain,
Because you know that if they do,
Your life wont be the same.

They wont understand,
All the depression you've been put through,
They will just laugh and hate,
Listen hard to what I'm telling you.

Show them that smile,
The one you hide behind,
Don't show them that you scream,
And bleed from deep inside..
