The Yellow Rose Of Love

by RainbowSlider   Nov 22, 2005

I am a widower
and my heart is a desert.
There is only
one flower
that blooms
and grows
in the desert.
Ask any one
that lives
in the desert.
I am a rainbow.
I bow my head
as my tears
are my rain.
You are a widow
and you know
all about
the rain.
But you are
the sun
that shines love
on me.
My soul is blue
as blue as the sky.
You are like me
a twin rainbow.
Your love
like mine
is the pot
of gold.
I treasure
your gold
as you do mine.
I love you,
Yellow Rose.
