Winter's Melody

Winter's heavy blanket covers the lifeless,
As snowflakes dance with the wind's rythmn.
Obscurity sleeps upon the city.

Lights illuminate the otherwise dark street.
A slight frost lingers in the air,
As the wind sings its soft melody.

Sitting in their rooms, looking through their window.
Children watch as winter works its magic,
Placing its blanket upon the lifeless.
