Imagine if you saw your favorite model not eating
Would you not eat so you could be like her?
Imagine that you drop a couple pounds to feel better
Imagine if those lost pounds gave you 10 compliments a day
Imagine if starving yourself was the only pain you could control
Imagine that losing a few pounds turns into twenty.
Imagine the same people that were complimenting you, were still saying you were fat.
Imagine if you stopped eating altogether
Imagine what would happen to your complexion
Imagine what would happen if your parents found out
Imagine if your friends found out.
They wouldnâ??t talk to you anymore
Youâ??d be an outcast
Then you think â??Well gaining a few pounds canâ??t hurtâ??
So you start to eat
Your sudden decision has caused you to have a heart attack
Youâ??re in the emergency room
Your parents and friends are praying for you
The same friends who said you were fat
Youâ??re in a coma that you might never come out of
Your parents allow the feeding tube to be taken out.
You die.
Is this what it will take for people to realize that eating disorders slowly kill you?
