Roller Coaster

by melba   Nov 23, 2005

I feel like today will never end,
But thank god i have you here as my friend.

It was just yesterday when we played in the yard,
nothing ever seemed this hard.

Our childhood innocence has left us so fast,
now becoming only our merely past.

Alls we can do now is cherish the memories,
stick with each other in all conspiracies.

When did life put a limit to our dreams,
sending out its horrible schemes.

I find myself always feeling sad,
too many problems,
has this world gone mad?

Cope is impossible with all this change,
too many things have been rearranged.

I stay in bed thinking all night,
hoping that tomorrow will be alright.

Over the years i have taken some hits,
but I've learned to stay strong and never quit.

You reassure me it will be okay,
telling me hard times will soon fade away.

For i've learned life is a roller coaster filled with ups and downs,
and we all must ride it if we want to get around.
