Heartache

I showed you all my affection,
and gave you all of my attention,
you showed me that you care,
and now the lies are more than I can bear.

Thousands of tears have been cried,
accusations from friends went denied,
you held my hand and it felt so right,
but I now know you lied that night.

My mind and heart raced,
the reality was hard to face,
it's to hard to face you now knowing you lied,
and my love for you was cruelly denied.

So my dear,please listen to me,
I now my love is easy to see,
tell me the truth about how you feel,
and tell me that your love is real.
