Today i woke up with the sun shining through my soul,
it made me wake up and finally realize the glass was half full

the past year went by and everyday equaled you,
my world turned upside down, every emotion turned blue

i was waiting for you to come back to the times we used to share,
i was waiting for that one day when you would finally care

but you failed my hopes and turned down my heart,
its about time i face reality and face that were apart

and i know its not your fault that i waited so long,
but i didnt care cause i loved you so much and i knew it was wrong

but its not my fault either that i longed for you so bad,
or that you were the best lover i ever had

but at least i learned my lesson for you will be my last,
