A simple story of a confused woman

by spreadyourwings   Nov 24, 2005

She heard the sirens coming
knowing there was no way of getting out
she was rich for the moment
selfish for the day
he layed next to her
lifeless, covered in blood
she sat there with bloody hands
and an empty soul
his life didn't matter anymore
all that had mattered was her wealth
insanity had a new meaning that day
love didn't even matter anymore
all that mattered was her escape
she ran out the cellar door and through the woods
leaving his dead corpse there to be found and investigated
a week later after the murder
she was lying on a bed in a cheap broken down motel
watching the news, they knew who she was
it was now just a game of hide in seek
the week before, the night she had left him there
she grabbed her money and ran
bloody money and bloody hands
i guess it was all that really mattered
she changed her name and took a greyhound to new york
a month had gone by, she had escaped
her pregnancy came forth so abrupt she never expected it
she knew who the father was
and knew she was a single mother now
he was dead and it didn't even matter to her
he deserved it she would say to herself
but she knew it was wrong
they had been trying to have a baby for the past year
but after all the disappointments, she had finally given up
she didn't care what she did all that mattered was that she had her baby and her wealth
...to be continued
