His Maple Of Unknown

No one understands the boy,
By the maple in the rain,
No one knows of his demise,
His lengthened leap of pain,
No one even knows,
Of the desperate life he leads,
Or of the demons in his closet,
For which his life he pleads.

No one knows his secret,
His accomplice throughout life,
No one knows the tale,
Carved on his wrist with knives.
He hides from all humanity,
Unknown to even him,
No one hears the stories,
Or the bloody wrath of grim.

Deeper in his soul,
Nothing is to be found,
Fragments of his life, destroyed,
And laid gently on the ground,
Dead beneath his blank eyes,
No spark has been infused,
And through his life of misery,
He lost all that he could lose.

And as he soaks in all the wet,
Mysterious and pained,
He dies one of his thousand deaths,
Beneath the maple in the rain.

    sorry i'm actually at a loss for words. That was truly brilliant. Wow you're one of the best poets on this site, seriously.
    Like BeautifulDisaster said, i hope this isn't about you, or anyone really, because i wouldn't wish that emptiness, or however you'd describe it in a word, on anyone.
    You did an amzing job to capture the anguish..everything...just wow.

    If it is about you..matt i find it hard to believe. I don't know you but god you are amazing, talent wise..personality (from what ive seen) and kindness.
    Find that in yourself...

    Wow. Is this about u? I really hope not. If it is Im always here if u need to talk. I can relate to the boy in this poem, whoever it is. It is full of emotion and very deep. definately doesnt sound like a 12 year old. you are very talented at such a young age. plz read some of my poems if u have time. hope all is well

    Wow hun, this is very VERY deep, I loved it, I still cant believe you're only twelve, you write better than some 50 year old poets I know wow, This made me sad to think of this boy, Aw, I hope this isnt about you hun, and if it is aww dont feel like that, there is so much beauty to be found in your soul, but anyways this is such a beautiful & touching poem, amazing work hun, you WILL BE indeed the new shakespear, take care
