Kiss of the Cloud

by McCall   Nov 24, 2005

As I lay here staring at the dim morning sky
The sunrise exaggerates the clouds that float by.
A smile covers my face in this early morning bliss.
I find one thats special and deliver my kiss.
Hoping that the distance will not be too great,
For the little kiss of love, that this cloud has to take
Over vast mountains and the deep sea,
With nothing to guide it but my love and the breeze.
Through day and night, the kiss keeps the cloud strong.
Traveling to its destination, for as long as my love goes on.
I can only pray that you dont let this cloud slip,
For the kiss that I send is meant for only your lips.
And if by some chance the cloud passes you by,
Every morning Ill deliver a new one, on a cloud in the sky.
