No one knowing

by whitney   Nov 24, 2005

Theres the girl that sits there waiting.
Scared and afraid
Shes wondering if she will ever make her parents happy
She cant stand how much its always a disappointment after the next
As she comes home from school
She walks to her room
Sits in the corner and waits
No one comes
Unless she is needed to clean or to eat.
Her dad comes home at six
The first words spoken
Is your homework done are you still getting good grades
She puts on a fake smile and says yes dad
Dinner is over back to her room she goes
To sit and to dream of the things shes wants to do
Singing playing guitar
As she sits on in the corner under a blanket
Her feelings get spilt out on paper.
Keeping them close so no one will know
She starts to starve herself slowly so know one knows
Yet another disappointment
But the only thing pushing her to keep going
Still no one knowing
