You're not worth a title

by Corne   Nov 24, 2005

If it's sympathy keeping you by my side,
I'd rather you hide.
If it's fear keeping you near,
I don't want you here.

You would never have dared,
admitting you get scared.
Always the best,
always better than the rest.

Putting yourself on the top,
was just preparing you for a long drop.
Standing so tall,
It's going to be a hard fall.

You tricked people into emotion,
your lies are your only devotion.
I figured you out, you're cold, you're lead,
here's my advise, quit whilst you're ahead.

If there's one thing I've learned,
Love is something to be earned.
I'm sorry to say, one day you will get burned.
Guess what? The tables have turned.
