Childhood Fears

by Little Sin   Nov 24, 2005

I stare down at you,
this night so horrid.
And I take a chance as I step forward.
I long to send you to the land of flames,
and your tears set my heart ablaze.
But my words to you,
were but a maze.
And your eyes so hollow,
as a cave.

A freak I am, is what I heard.
And my death I know,
is preferred.

And with the knife clutched in my hand,
you attempt your final cowardice stand.
But to hell you do land.

I reach out, so cold, my hand.
And you refuse, I don`t understand?
And wings spread out,
while my souls in doubt.

And I believe I`ve met,
an angel from the sky.
My beloved-ed father, not a lie.
And you hold me as we do fly.
But your halo is what disappears,
and from your skull,
horns appear.

And as we reach paradise,
you let me fall with this advice.
To abandon hope and succumb,
I never knew this tragic would come,
as you left me hapless and numb,
to wait there and to die into,
the never ending time with none.

And you hum into my ears,
all the lies I longed to hear,
but now all have is to fear the truth ahead,
and the ruins of your pretend.

You left me there with no reason,
and you left me there with treason inept.
My unwanted flaws,
you do not accept,
and my childhood fears you do attempt.
