Your My Whole World

by RainbowSlider   Nov 24, 2005

Once I was a loner
and friends I had none.
I was so alone
and afraid of the dark.
My world only contained me.
Oh, I had imagined friends
but they could not talk without me.
I met others
along the way
and had conversations
with them
without them being aware.
And then I met you
and the walls
came down a little.
You became a part
of my world
and I wasn't
alone any more.
I tried to
have other friends
but it became crowded.
My world got so big
and I got lost
in my world.
Eventually,
I even lost you.
How many people
can be on one world
before the world becomes
crowded with too many people?
I had to shrink my world
to let us back in.
