Bleeding for Eternity

These tears leak down my cheeks
these tears so cold and so vein
these tears leak down my cheeks
with every drop my pillow stained.

The liquid on my pillow
represents all the torture I feel
for these tears that keep on
staining my face
should not, could not be real.

With my eyes so bloodshot
they sting with all my cries
for they slip down at my chin
as every ember dies.

My mother use to be depressed
so she can see inside of me
for every chain that was holding
me back, I'm starting to break free.

Mommy kept a knife real close
real close as close as air
I bet that I could find it
and it would be my sweet repair.

I grasp it close so near to my heart
so that the first cut should feel
all my awaiting pleasure
this knife is just like gold to me
its worth that I must treasure.

My friendly knife its smiling
smiling back into my eyes
its telling me I shall not
feel any pain and with
a slice I cut my arms
its almost a surprise

But it made me feel
like just like an angel
soaring through the air
as now I won't continue life
always wishing you were there.

This empty abyss has now been filled
with blood and pain and all that
is not real, for everything within
that abyss is everything I feel.

I'm bleeding for eternity
bleeding all alone
bleeding through the nights
bleeding into the unknown.

I'm bleeding for all eternity
bleeding for something to be real
for something to wake up
as my life seems so surreal.

I'm bleeding for all eternity
bleeding from the knife
bleeding from all the hurt I've felt
I'm bleeding from this life.
