One little word

by goddessofsong   Nov 25, 2005

One little word,
and you accuse, hurt, block out.
one little word and you dig your own grave,
a simple thing,
2 syllables,
and you blew your cover.
blew away the sheet you were hiding under.
you discriminate, and tease,
just to give yourself a sense of security.
you'll never know how that feels,
to know someone could never see through your eyes.
to know that they hate you
for no reason at all.
just one little word,
and i see what you are.
