I am now gone

by Lindsey Bosse   Nov 25, 2005

There is no light,
a sight surprising to little me,
no one is alive

The sight can scare,
solitaire with no peace someone comes,
I shudder then

A dark cold friend,
someone I have been with forever,
awakes my pain

I try to push,
he cloaks me in his coldness and pain,
I can't take it

In a small trance,
sedated by my own loneliness,
I drift under

Bubbles float up,
relaxing signs of my hidden death,
I close my eyes

I am now gone,
thank you for not understanding me,
I am now gone
