These Words

These words that I write on the page
Are only words, they can't hurt you
They can't challenge you into a fight
No-one would win

These words could form a poem, story or a song
Depending what mood I was in
The words on the page could just be an illusion.
They could disappear if you look away

These words might be remembered by someone
They could mean something to someone
These words could actually make sense
But not in this poem.
