Apology

by LOVE.ME.HATE.ME   Nov 25, 2005

I watched mom sleep last night,
I just wanted to hold her tight.
She was crying for her parents,
And I didn't know what to do,
At this point, an apology wont do.

What would you say, do or feel if you saw her sleep dad?
I know she wants an apology like I had.
Mom's doing her best to make me and my brother happy,
Meanwhile, missing you is making her life crappy.

I hide myself in my room,
Getting ready for my inevitable doom.
Noone knows the tears I cry,
All they know is I want to sprout wings and fly.
Now I'm too tired to try.

Your apology wont do,
Your tears have nothing to prove,
We cant have a nice home because mom has no money for us to move.
Don't tell me you've been working.
I'll never believe you if you told me where you were lurking.

So what's your apology now?
