Real nightmare

With my eyes full of tears
I turn away
not wanting the world
to see my pain
I wish with my heart
for the tears to stop
but all the wishes bring
is another drop
I think of the words
that brought misery
his words like ice
said it wasn't meant to be
I can't get over it
he stole my heart
it was ok until
he tore it apart
he left me here
to put the peices together
but it's just too hard
and it isn't getting better
I'll just have to get through it
and learn how to deal
I must except the fact
that this nightmare is real
