My Voice of Ambition

by Clonjey   Nov 26, 2005

Don't take that chance to judge ME at first glance.
Preventing MY advance because of how I wear my pants.
More mindless than ants...
It's evident I'm just as intelligent.
But for a brother, or any other color, prejudice is eminent.
Well FORGET you!
And the Ideas you're stuck to.
Forget ALL of your views,
because you'll be shining MY shoes.
Being black or being successful, why chose?
Why lose because YOU chose to abuse?
The message you send,
enemy OR Friend,
Won't cause my ambition to end.

Another awesome write. i hate people who are prejudice and racist and discriminatory(sp? is that even a word?). it annoys me so much, especially when i cant do anything about it( like when my father says something racist), but you expressed it so well. 5/5
