I will miss you

I want everything to feel right again
And not have so much regret.
I want to put everything in the past
And that is where I will leave it.

I dont want anymore words to be said
Just want everything to disappear
I want to believe that Im not alone
And that I finally cried my last tear

I want my mistakes to be forgotten
So I dont have to feel the shame
I want to know that Im alright
Because Im tired of all this pain.

The memories of you still linger
And I want to keep them all inside
But you have changed into someone
Someone I dont even recognize

Its time for me to say goodbye
And it breaks my heart to say this to you.
But all you ever give me are lies
Whenever I beg for the truth.

So goodbye. I will miss you.

    You know, I wanted to say this to a friend for SO long, but I couldn't find the words to say. Finally, I just told her how I felt and now we are as close as ever. I just want you to know that there may not be another out there like the one you wrote this to, but there is someone who'll be in your life that you can talk to, tell them stuff you couldn't this person. Don't give up, I didn't, and look at me now, I am a new person. Great poem.
