The most painful cut

I have broken bones
and torn muscles

I have sprained ankles
and knocked out my teeth

I have been through so much pain
and yet still

the greatest pain
i have ever been through

is the pain in the knowledge
that i may cry myself to sleep

and cut my wrist till its covered in scars
but no matter how i act

i am always alone in my struggle for life
no one will hold me tight

no tears of mine
will fall on anothers shoulder

and that has the bitterest sting of all
the knowledge that i will always be alone
