Ive known you for a while,
A couple of years or so.
When Im with you Im always happy,
Even when Ive been real low.

Over time my feelings changed.
Im not sure when it began.
But now you mean a lot to me;
Youre much more than a friend.

I think that you should know,
But Im not sure what to do.
Maybe I should put it in a letter,
Write, I wanna grow old with you.

Maybe I should call you,
And let you know on the phone.
Should I message your mobile,
Or call you up at home.

Should I just tell you to your face,
But what on earth would I say?
Shall I compare thee to a rose?
Tell you youre the sunlight in my day?

And what if you dont feel the same?
What if you said we could never be?
Yet what if you were so happy,
That you could be with me?

Hopefully youll make a move,
Because I am too afraid.
