Infatuation, admiration,
Fascination and attraction...
As little kids this is all we knew,
This is love, a love so true!

Everyone with no exception
Has gone through this deception
The time of one's life when everything's a dream
Reality-this is not what it seems

So "I" am part of "We"
Even I have lived this trance
So let me share my fairy-tale
I'll lay everything to you- every single detail

I was in the 6th grade
A young girl who's always in a braid
A bit geeky with the glasses
But is a playful lass after classes

He was a boy of jokes and mirth
A bit of mischief he had since birth!
But behind those grins is another guy
A strong and serious man in him lies...

The time came when the two hearts met
But there wasn't any magical spark...yet!
They became a pair - no not that thought
In a simple activity together, they were brought

She ne'er imagined that they "could be"
Climbing the highest mountain,
Swimming the deepest sea
Until the day, destiny took over...

A few days from then
He's gonna turn ten
Oh wait, I have said wrong
Gonna turn 13 - striking and strong!

So that day it finally started
The love that never can be parted

He gave his friends some chocolate
A bar that would add up their weight
He told them to give her a part
A sweet thing that comes from his heart

She didn't think of is as anything
Nothing serious, just nothing
A way of saying "thank you" maybe?
Or a love for eternity she just can't foresee?

Until the second time came
He wanted to give her kisses but he felt so lame
But wait not kisses that you thought!
Sweet candies of chocolates his mother bought

He let his best friend hand it over
An invitation to the party of her secret lover!
Her cheeks became red coz she cannot believe
Another chocolate from the same guy she received

All she said was "thank you"
And don't you worry "I'll come too!"
And in the hallway when she saw him
They felt a spark, they felt a whim

This is the day they've been awaiting
But they're still too young - so no they're not dating
They looked their best for each other to see
They'll meet each other with a smile of glee

So from then there was no doubt
True love between the two had sprout
There was no turning back this is a decision
A wonderful fairy-tale without a conclusion!

One time they had a school show
A song performance he'll throw
Such romantic song for the girl
His inspiration - his cherished pearl!

In their eyes you'll see
That they were truly meant to be
He wanted to tell her what he feels
But his fear is what he deals

So he asked a help from a friend
A girl whose helping hand she'll truly lend
She acted as their link
She got them together just by a wink

A few more weeks there'll be
A dance for all "he and she"
So every girl's expecting a guy
To ask her out or even to try!

She was expecting him to ask her
Even for the last moment he'll spur
But something happened, that she didn't expect
Something that left her heart wrecked

This guy she fell in love with
The boy who brought to reality the myth
Of undying love that awakened her heart
Only to find out that he's drifting apart

He had broken her heart into pieces
When another girl he gave his kisses
The friend he asked for a helping hand
Had stolen his heart - destiny planned?

The most painful thing in this reality
The truth that gave her heart a pitiless fatality
Is when the boy who once said, "For you I'll die"
Made her weep when he bid goodbye

I know we were still young
Still playing and munching on dung
It was infatuation he felt
But why is it that when I look at him my heart still melts?

Why is it that until today
Though thousands of guys had come my way
He still runs through my mind
A part of me is still with him - the heart which I couldn't find...
