One tearless night

I wish I may
I wish I might
Go to sleep
One tearless night
To lie down
With a smile on my face
As I drift off
To another place
To have a dream
So beautiful and rare
And wake up
Without a care
To start a day
Feeling all brand new
With a forgotten yesterday
As if I had no clue
All insecurities
Swallowed with pride
A whole new person
Reborn inside
So now I lay me down to sleep
With painful secrets
Playin hide and seek
As the tears begin
To roll down my cheek
Sleepiness\' spirit
Begins to creep...
I wish I may
I wish I might
Go to sleep
One tearless night
