I HATE THE FACT THAT I LOVED YOU

by Paige aka Kayla   Nov 26, 2005

I hate the fact that i loved you
for you didnt really love me in return!
i hate the fact that i loved you
because now all my heart does is burn!

i hate the fact that i loved you
considering you were never there
i hate the fact that i loved you
because you never actually did care!

i hate the fact that i loved you
when i knew all along you loved her
i hate the fact that i loved you
because you made me feel like a failure!

but because of the fact that i DID love you
nothing could make me see who you really were!

even though i DID know who you were right from the start
i could not help but follow my love struct heart! and the fact that it fell for you!

you were someone who played with my heart
and i was someone who thought we'd never part!

i hate the fact that i loved you
considering all the Sh!t you put me through!

I HATE THE FACT THAT I LOVED YOU!

Sorry I cant put up as good a comment as that ^ but I'll write something.
Thankyou for your comment, I see you really like my work, this is definately one of the better poems I have read (through all the crap people put here). I love the way you are so bitter about it all, so true. Keep up the great work.

But because of the fact that i DID love you

I loved this part because it's so true! Love is blind. It was a really good poem, but I do have some constructive critisism for you, some of the words you choose make your poem sound forced like this line-because it was always her you used to stir! Maybe try looking up better rhyming words to express your emotions at like rhyme.com or something. But please don't take this the wrong way cuz I love your poetry, you have great topics and they flow well. Keep it up! And I know I'm not perfect so if you have any suggestions for me let me know k.
