Hold On

by Terri Lynn   Dec 19, 2003

Have you ever had those days
When you wish it all would end?
Yet your not sure exactly what \"it\" is
And your problems never mend
Well Hold On...

Those days when mom just starts yellin
And Dads not home to care
Your lover would like to help you
But It\'s u that they need there.
Just Hold On...

So you sit up in your room
Blast your tunes and scream
Because your tears all all cried out now
So close to splitting the seem
Please Hold On...

All that you think of now
Is how much Tylenol it would take
Or would any body miss you
And is a noose that hard to make?
Gottta Hold On...

It\'s not fair that while searching for answers
You seem to find the knives
Then your brain starts to race agian
Lots of people take their lives
Must Hold On...

But if you could crack a smile
A smirk would even do
It\'s amazing what good feelings
Errupt inside of you
Your not alone in this world
Stop thinking noone understands
Cuz lots of people have been there
Let them take your hand
Your Holding On...

*Hold on if you feel like letting go
Hold on it gets better than u know
Don\'t stop trying your one tep closer, don\'t stop trying it\'s not over! Hold on...*

Last stanza from Good Charlottes- Hold on. This poem was inspired by ther song
