The things that I am thankful for

"The things that I am Thankful for"

When I am driving down the road and the kids are being loud
When they bring home A's on their report cards they surely make me proud
When they are in fights and butting heads
God I am thankful for those wonderful kids

When he is mad at me and not even saying a thing
When he surprised me with my engagement ring
When at the moment that I am lonely he reaches over and takes my hand
God I am thankful for my husband

When she's in a crabby mood and beings to yell at me
When she points out all the good things in my life that I wasn't able to see
When I do not get to see her for a few days ,its her I surely miss
God I am thankful that I have a sweetheart for a sis

God I thankful for the way you tell me how things are
When you bought me my first car
NO one could ever take your place your shoes could not be filled by another
God I am thankful for my sometimes crabby ,but sweet mother

I am thankful for the times that you held my head
Thankful for the times that I stayed up late, that you chased me off to bed
For all the times i asked you for a drink and you said no,then brought me some water
God I am thankful that I have a wonderful father

I am thankful for the way you confront me to my face
Thankful for the way you sometimes invade my personal space
You both are always there to catch when I am about to fall
God I am thankful that I have the greatest parent-in-laws
