Life Without Him

by ~*You are my only one*~   Nov 27, 2005

I saw you one day,
In the petshop case,
I told mom to stay,
And you licked my face.

I knew things were meant to be,
There was something in my mind,
Even though at first we didn't see,
You were a hard thing to find.

To this day I know,
Our family never went wrong,
And still our love continues to grow,
You are in a place you belong.

As you've grown older,
And you have hit a peak,
The days have turned colder,
And you have become so weak.

I can see the pain,
Within your eyes,
And yet you never complain,
You put on a big disguise.

Now you make me cry,
Because of what you are going through,
On the drugs you rely,
I wish this were all untrue.

Hopefully things will change,
I can't stand to see you like this,
The real you is all deranged,
It is you I'm going to miss.

This is about my dog, and OMG he is the best thing I could have ever asked for in my life. His name is Buddy. But I'm just scared that we might be losing him soon, because my parents don't want to see him like this anymore. And I don't know what I would do without him. Well thanks for reading this, and please comment and vote if you would like.
