Ghostly night

by Danushiya   Nov 27, 2005

I looked around searching for someone
But nothing except the frowning walls were staring at me
I wanted someone to talk to
But nothing except the ghostly wind was whispering to me
I tried to feel some living thing
But only the spooky ground could touch me
"Is there anybody here?" I cried
But nothing except my own echo answered me

In the dead of the night, phantoms sing ghostly songs,
But was that true? I did not know
In the wintry days furious hounds hunt for pray
Were they close by? I did not know
In this chilly night everything seemed unusual
But why? I did not know
If there was anybody to help me out
Who it was, I did not know
