For My Love

by Deja Marie Meriwether   Nov 27, 2005

This poem was written about my best friend St. Skippie and myself. Its kind of hard to understand unless you know us but... I put it here anyway!

Without you where would I be? It's always been you and me. A friendship stemmed out of hate. We have no reason to be angry. All of the distrust, hatred, anger, and hard feelings are behind us before it even began. Without you the days of monotony I couldn't bear. Sometimes I think you're the only one who cares. No matter what happens I'm here for you. Nothing will ever change that. Even in years, if we go separate ways. I'm only a telephone call and a few miles away. If you need me you can get a hold of me. I know the same goes for you. Without you I don't know what I'd do. All these people can't understand that being normal will never be a part of our plan. We can take the ridicule and shame as long as we have each other. Even if we fight or disagree. (Have we ever fought?) We're stuck together through everything. Thats not bad, just a fact. You're the best friend I'll ever have. I love you!
