Lies

by ntv650   Nov 27, 2005

There are lies that spread across the ocean,
Some that pass from one mouth to another.
there are lies that hide away only to return,
And there are some which often come and go.

Lies can be little or large, black or white,
And every once awhile too good or bad to devide.
They revolve around the world spreading news,
Causing our hearts to both break and bloom.

Lies are a most terribly wonderful thing,
Bringers of death but also good fortune.
Often torn, exaggerated or intertwined,
A future from the consequences of the past.

Lies are very complicated indeed,
But let me finish this here and now.
As every one, whether right or wrong,
The pain caused ever-so short or long,
-Ends with that final breath we draw...

I love it! So true, so expressive and so smooth. 5/5 no doubt. Please keep writing! :D
