Healing

by Meg   Nov 27, 2005

Dying the slowest death
I breathe what could be my final breath
I fear for what awaits
For I'll never make it through the pearly gates
I need to clear my head and thoughts
I have to make a confession
Listen to my words and question
Weep no more
We will prevail
Pray to god we didn't fail
We slowly waste away
Theres is no forever, just today
So today we'll make it ours
And try and heal our scars
