Essence of Man

by Michael D Nalley   Nov 27, 2005

Is the essence of man in his mind?
Created by the whole of mankind?
Does the creator create with a goal?
Or aimlessly like a wind with no soul?

Are we not made with earth wind and fire?
Tears fall from heaven to quench our desire
Sorrow and joy to lift us ever so higher
Glory be to the Father the master glorifier

The essence of a wise man should be not to be a fool
The essence of a kind man is to follow a golden rule
The essence of man is the golden rule from above
The essence of the spirit is the Spirit of divine love
