I have been hiding something from you for a very long time
Truth be told I love it when you body brushes against mine

We were happy for a long time and then awaken from a dream
Lost in our perfect world that wasn't what it seemed
Danger lurking all around, the threat of death was near
Yet I knew as long as I had you I had nothing to fear
You weren't only a person but a hero to us all
Yet I was the only way that this hero could fall
He promised to protect me though he had to leave
All I could do was be strong and pretend to believe
That we could be together, someway and somehow
We'll be together in the end, just separate for now
I would stand by his side and fight until the end
