Temporary life

by alex   Nov 28, 2005

Dark, dirty snow
once the barren winter earth
ask not for this eternal summer blossom.
warm life will pass yet to icy death
bright sun will turn over somber moon
we hold each other until the flame burns out
and then let go.

run
for the child who dies too.
run for the flower as it withers
for the summer as it falls
poor mothers cry for innocence
that never could exist
in a world where
nothing can.

It was clever to used seasons to show true pictures of life.
