I waited too long
to tell you how i feel
everytime you asked me
i denied that it was real
now my changes are gone
blown from my hand at last
it feels like something has died
the flags are at half mast
so now i stand before you
nothin to conceal or to hide
screaming out my feelings for you
ive loved you all my life.
my heart turns to ashes
my lips turn to dust
now as time slips by
i know that soon i must
convey the message some how
before it is too late
should i mess up some godly plan
